Achuvettante Veedu (Malayalam : അച്ചുവേട്ടന്റെ വീട്) is a film released in Malayalam in 1987, directed by Balachandra Menon and starring Nedumudi Venu, Balachandra Menon and Rohini Hattangadi in the leading roles. The lyrics is by S. Ramesan Nair with music by Vidyadharan. The background score is done by Mohan Sithara.

Kasim's daughter, Waahida, elopes with her boyfriend, Madhavan Kutty, on the day of her wedding. Years later, Madhavan Kutty, in the disguise of a Muslim man, goes to treat the now paralysed Kasim.

Vasu is brought up with love and care by his stepmother. However, when his stepmother gives birth to a boy, he feels insecure as the baby gets more attention than him.

Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu is a Tamil-language romantic comedy drama film written and directed by newcomer Thirumalai Kishore, starring Githan Ramesh in the lead role as a T. Rajendar fan, while Sanchita Padukone and Telugu actress Suhasini, making her Tamil film debut, play lead female characters, with Jayaprakash, Prakash Raj, comedian Soori and Ilavarasu essaying supporting roles. The film, produced by Ramesh's home production Super Good Films, has music scored by Telugu composer Chakri in his debut Tamil film.
